We’ve asked this week’s curator Lauren Muse of Muse Interiors, to share with us her thoughts and inspiration for her Curator’s Collection event. Here’s what she had to say:
When thinking about any project we attempt to balance beauty and function. For any space to be a success both elements have to prevail. Our Modern Elegance collection for Joss and Main reflects the Muse Interiors sensibility, which is modern and fresh while remaining timeless.
Accessorizing is critical to putting a finishing touch on a project. When accessorizing I love to mix high and low, old and new which helps achieve a collected feel. I always tell clients to pick up little treasures in their travels. Not only does it make your home more interesting, it also puts your individual stamp on it. Have fun with it; a pair of graphic pillows, a glamorous mirror or a hand blown glass vase can really transform a space.
